"I am 43, married with two young children, 2 dogs, and live on a working arable farm. Life is busy! So meditation and being still seemed a foreign concept to me! But it’s the meditation that I’ve found the most valuable. I’ve found the stillness and silence magical. I suffer with chronic migraine and the breathing practices have been so therapeutic. I also carry a lot of tension in my neck and face from migraine attacks so the stretching that Rachel teaches has also helped so much.

I believe everyone of us is born with a purpose. I truly believe Rachel has been tapped by a force greater than herself. Yoga and teaching yoga is her calling. She has empowered us all through fulfilling her presence on earth. I feel blessed to have her as my teacher"

Class Descriptions

Ahimsic Health Yoga Flow

This is my flagship class including all aspects of yoga for a powerful and well balanced effect on body, mind and soul. Ahimsic Health Yoga Flow classes begin with a gentle stretch to prepare the body, followed by a seated breath work practice to centre the mind. We then move through a dynamic Vinyasa-style flow, with plenty of options and modifications to suit your body and energy level, feel free to rest whenever you need. The class wraps up with a soothing relaxation or meditation, leaving you feeling balanced and rejuvenated. Suitable for all levels, as you can adapt the practice to meet your personal needs

Slow Flow & Meditation

Slow Flow classes offer a gentle, calming experience with a focus on deep stretching and mindful movement. We flow slowly through basic yoga postures, allowing time for a deeper stretch and focusing on technique. Breath work is incorporated to help centre the mind, and the session concludes with relaxation or meditation to leave you feeling refreshed and grounded. Perfect for beginners or anyone looking to enhance flexibility and refine their yoga practice.

Weight Training

These short, focused strength training sessions (20-25 minutes) use weights to target and tone your entire body. Designed to build muscle and improve overall strength, these sessions complement your yoga practice by enhancing stability, balance, and endurance. You’re encouraged to take breaks as needed, ensuring a pace that works for you. Strength training not only supports your yoga practice but also helps prevent injury by building a strong, resilient body

Pilates Yoga Flow

This class blends Pilates activation exercises with yoga to enhance your asana practice. Focused on strengthening key muscles and improving postural alignment, you’ll build stability and ease in your movements. The first half of the class combines Pilates and stretching, while the second half transitions into a flowing yoga sequence. Perfect for those looking to deepen their practice with mindful movement.
