Ahimsic Health Yoga is an integrated practice exploring all areas of yoga. We are not just training our bodies but also our minds.

Ahimsic Health platform includes LIVE weekly zoom classes plus an ever growing on-demand library currently holding over 150 sessions.
There is a dedicated section for beginners and a variety of classes for more experienced yogis.
From 60 minute classes to 10-20 minute meditations, stretches, weights, pilates.... there is something to suit all levels and situations.
So if you only have 30 minutes before rushing out to work or you have just 15 minutes before the kids get up, there is something in there for you.
The current LIVE zoom class timetable has 4 weekly classes and monthly Sunday sessions.

TUESDAY- 7.30am Ahimsic Health Flow Yoga (45 mins)

All yoga classes include asana (postures), pranayama (breathing exercises) kriya (energy work) meditation and intention setting.
All classes are recorded and available on catch up for four weeks after the LIVE session. The LIVE timetable is included in GOLD MEMBERSHIP.
Rachel created Ahimsic Health Yoga during lockdown.
The platform was born from the demand for online classes and the frustrations of running classes via social media platforms.
"I wanted to create a safe online space where people can sign in and access LIVE, ON DEMAND and PRE RECORDED classes without getting caught up in the drama of social media!"
Rachel was born in Chester and moved down to London to pursue a dance career at 16. After travelling a little bit of the world for various dance jobs, Rachel finally settled back in London, where she became a fitness instructor, pilates teacher and finally a yoga teacher in 2009.
Moving to Ibiza in 2013 she found a deeper connection to nature and the practice of yoga where she taught more yoga than every before and ran her own retreats.
Having always dreamt of India since a child she finally made the trip in 2018 to deepen her knowledge of yoga and gain the 500 hour certification from Sattva Yoga Academy.
This is where everything changed on a personal and teaching level.
"I felt a huge release of past trauma I didn't know I was carrying.. self doubt, lack of confidence and constant self judgement. I discovered a deep peace and happiness within that hasn't gone away. This made way for me to be the passionate and inspired yogi that was always within me but too shy and embarrassed to shine out truly and fully."
Rachel returned from India eager to share the practice with others so they could learn how to let go of the ego tendency's that stop us from reaching our highest potential.
The integrated sessions she teaches evolved from this experience in India.
Rachel is continuously deepening her knowledge and experience of yoga with many teachers and gained her Master Teacher Training with Sattva Yoga Academy in 2020.
"I am always a work in progress and never taking it all too seriously, laughter is a potent and powerful medicine and life on this planet is too short to be unhappy and stressed all the time. I am however fully committed to the yogic path and will always be evolving, learning and sharing. The goal is to find PEACE, LOVE and UNITY in body, mind and soul, this is what we work on at Ahimsic Health, it's integrated practice not just physical.
My mission is to guide as many people as possible to find their potential and purpose in life and to give people the tools to navigate the challenges life throws at us.
Everyone can practice yoga and get massive benefits from it and I'm here to help people find that magic if they are open to look for it"
There are more and more studies and scientific research coming out that prove how beneficial yoga is for the mind and the physical body.
The best study, of course, is to experience it first hand yourself, by trying the practice.
The magic and power of transformation is in the breath. When we breathe consciously we can completely change the functioning of the body systems. Regulating the nervous system, decreasing stress, lowering blood pressure and calming a busy mind.
Focusing on the breath, slowing and deepening it for a few minutes can not only regulate the nervous system but also the endocrine (hormones) systems, which in turn regulates digestion and strengthens the immune system.
Some of the exercises work on specific glands eg thyroid or thymus gland improving metabolism and immune function..... certain movements can activate the lymphatic system aiding in moving toxins out of the body.
Meditation is said to rewire the brain creating new neural pathways, increasing alertness, memory and concentration.
This is just touching the surface. The list of benefits to the body and mind are endless!
The yoga we are practicing at Ahimsic Health can help to alleviate anxiety, stress and worry, something we are all feeling on a personal and collective level in the world right now.
We are all interconnected, we can easily absorb another beings mood, feeling or emotion and we especially absorb the heavy energy and fear from the news, media and internet.
We focus on clearing that heavy energy with magical exercises called kriyas that also uplift our hearts and souls connecting to the innate love and wisdom within us all.
This type of yoga will not only help you transcend fear, it will raise your vibration. That will rub off on those around you and you will be the one helping to lift other people UP rather than adding to the fear that is drilled into humanity.
We also work on strengthening our energy so we are not so susceptible to absorbing heavy energy from others.
Yoga classes are guided not only by the yogic wisdom but also current astrology. I have had profound and magical manifestation experineces in recent years through using astrology within my yoga practice...so naturally I now pass that on through my classes.
