Hi I'm Rachel, founder/creator and owner of Ahimsic Health Yoga (read more about my yoga journey here)
I teach four live Zoom classes each week, including yoga, breathwork, meditation, Pilates, and weight training. These classes are a space to move, breathe, and reconnect... no matter your level of experience.
In addition to weekly classes, I host special Sunday sessions every month online.
As a member, you'll also get access to four brand-new recorded classes added to the Yoga Class Library each month, so you can practise anytime, anywhere.
Each season, I lead a 21-day transformational journey... a powerful way to reset and realign with nature’s rhythms through breath, movement, and mindful intention.

MY CLASSES ARE NOT JUST ABOUT THE PHYSICAL PART OF YOGA
We work on all layers of our being...physical, mental, emotional and spiritual.
Classes include breath work, a powerful practice to release deep held emotion and break up repetitive negative thinking. When we bring our attention to the breath we are able to relax the mind and free ourselves from stress, anxiety and worry.
Generally, each class will start with a stretch to prepare the body. We then move into breath work sometimes seated, sometimes lying down. This is followed by a yoga flow, which can be adapted to make the yoga fit you... rather than you trying to fit into any crazy flexi yoga poses that are not necessary.
Meditation is of paramount importance within the yoga practice. It is not a separate thing. All the above practices enable us to come into meditation where we sit (or lie) quietly, connecting to the love in our hearts and the wisdom in our souls.
Ultimately, including all these wonderful components, makes this an 'integrated yoga practice' This is how we gain deep transformation not just on the mat but in our lives.
